Monster Magazines circa early 1970's! This once seemed low-brow, but I guess if I was an art-kid today I'd be drawing characters from Play Station games--so by comparison these cover paintings now seem like they were part of the Italian Renaissance. (That NIGHTMARE cover still gives me the creeps).
