Two Transition Stage Paintings 1986-87

At this point, my artwork got a little less cartoony and somewhat more painterly. The colors were still awkward but my worst stumbling block was ADDING WHITE TO THE COLORS in order to brighten them--this is a big mistake. Some art professors with not allow students to use black or white at all--which is what someone should have told me!
